The Itinerary
Day by Day Experience

Arrival Day | Day 1
Arrive in Sicily
Arrive in sun-drenched Sicily and settle into your boutique hotel in baroque Noto, its golden limestone glowing in the late light. As the day fades, gather with Sarah and your fellow travelers for rooftop cocktails, sweeping views over the old town, and your very first taste of Sicily’s most expressive, unforgettable pours.

Day 2
Relax & Recover
A slow morning to recover after your journey. Linger over a lovely breakfast, then wander Noto’s honey-colored streets at your own pace. Want more? Add an optional day trip to nearby Modica or Ragusa. In the evening, join Sarah for a hosted welcome dinner and raise a glass to the ten days of wine, food, and adventure ahead.

Day 3
Vittoria Wineries
Travel together to Vittoria, home of Sicily’s only DOCG, for a private tour and tasting at the iconic COS winery. Then continue to Arianna Occhipinti’s celebrated estate for a tour, tasting, and an intimate cooking lesson around her table. Return to Noto by early evening, with the night free to explore and dine on your own.

Day 4
Benati Winery to Mount Etna
After breakfast, bid Noto farewell and head north for an extraordinary visit to Benanti, the only winery with vineyards on every slope of Etna, complete with a tour, tasting, and an exceptional lunch. End the day at your home on Mount Etna, where you can settle in among the vines and soak in the vistas of the volcano above.

Day 5
Relaxing Day & Optional Mount Etna Hike
A slow, restorative day on Etna. Visit the spa, lounge among the vines, and soak in the sweeping volcanic views. Feeling adventurous? Join an optional half-day morning hike on the slopes of Mount Etna. Later, we gather again for a hands-on cooking experience celebrating the flavors, ingredients, and traditions of this land.

Day 6
Mount Etna Wineries
Dig deeper into Etna’s volcanic terroir with visits to one or two nearby wineries, tasting Nerello Mascalese and Carricante grown at dramatic altitudes and across ancient lava flows. As the light turns gold, gather together for a relaxed sunset tasting in the vineyards, glass in hand, with Mount Etna glowing on the skyline.

Day 7
Departure from Mount Etna
Bid farewell to our vineyard home and travel to Taormina, perched high above the sparkling Ionian Sea with Mount Etna rising behind it. Check in, settle into your hotel, and enjoy a free evening to explore at your leisure. Stroll the lively main street, find a cool little bar for aperitivo, and dine wherever the mood leads.

Day 8
Taormina Day
A day to fall for Taormina entirely on your own terms. Wander the ancient Greek Theatre, get lost in the narrow medieval lanes, browse the boutique shops, then linger over a long lunch with a view of the sea. This is a vacation within the trip: slow, beautiful, indulgent, spontaneous, and wonderfully, unmistakably Sicilian.

Day 9
Day on the Sea
Spend the afternoon on the Ionian Sea, discovering the Sicilian coast by private boat. Swim and snorkel in crystal-clear coves, and savor a private wine experience on board, paired with delicious local bites. That evening, we gather one final time for a celebratory farewell dinner to toast the friendships and memories made.

Day 10
Departure from Sicily
Arrivederci, Sicily. Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast and one last look at the sea before private transfers take you back to Catania airport, timed around your departure. Not ready to leave just yet? Extend your stay in Taormina and let the island’s slow rhythm hold on to you for just a few more unhurried, sun-soaked days.
